Kathryn (Kat) Zohoranacky was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh where she graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School.
She attended Saint Francis University for both her undergraduate degree and her Master’s of Physician Assistant Science (MPAS).
Growing up she always enjoyed helping to care for her younger cousins at family gatherings. Once she started her pediatric rotation, she knew she would devote her career to the pediatric population.
After graduating in 2020, Kat worked in pediatric primary care in Johnstown, PA, working closely with her mentor from previous rotations. She returned to Pittsburgh and started at Kids Plus in 2024, excited to continue to pursue her passion for kids while also being closer to her friends and family.
Her favorite places to “play” in Pittsburgh are the Water Steps outside PNC Park, and the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts. In her free time, Kat enjoys painting, singing, attending Pittsburgh Pirates games, and walking along the river trails in and around Pittsburgh.
Her favorite musical as a child was CATS, and she remembers wearing her cat ears while dancing long to the family VHS tape. Her favorite toys growing up were her Littlest Pet Shop set, and she has fond memories of playing with her younger sister.
