Whether you’re expecting your first baby or looking to transfer into our practice, our Family Guide Program offers you the best possible introduction to Kids Plus.
The Kids + Family Guide program is a personalized, concierge-style introduction to the way we do things and the resources we offer. Our Family Guides welcome you into the practice and help you become Kids Plus “Power Users” before you ever set foot in one of our offices.
There are three parts of the program, each tailored to your family’s needs and interests.
GREETING
You get a warm, personalized welcome to the practice with personal attention and one-on-one communication from your Family Guide.
REGISTRATION
You and your baby on the way — or your child(ren) you’re transferring to the practice — are pre-registered in our system, including all your contact, demographic, and insurance information. We create your electronic medial record and your Patient Portal account, so that everything is ready to go BEFORE your first visit.
ORIENTATION
Through a one-on-one virtual meeting and a series of resources emailed and Portal-messaged to you, you’re introduced to all the Kids Plus (and Breastfeeding Center of Pittsburgh!) resources you want to know about, including all the fabulous resources on our web sites, the use of our Pre-Visit Questionnaires, our Patient Portal, our social media channels, and info on all the best ways and times to contact us when you have questions or concerns.
All this happens on your time, at your convenience. It’s our way of welcoming you to Kids Plus, and to making sure you have the smoothest, easiest, most helpful possible transition into the practice.
